This midweek offering is a short series of images I captured in a dark basement room of drummer Jordi Paris, a brief description of whom I shall leave to his own words: 'life lover'.
The lighting was a single low-powered electric ceiling bulb which was both cold & unforgiving to work with. I chose not to use flash & so required a wide aperture & high ISO, hence the graininess of the images. In retrospect I ought to have experimented with the shutter speed a little more in an attempt to capture more motion blur, but that will be my prerogative for the next drumming study.
