For the tri-weekly mid-week special blog post I present a short series of images documenting the devouring of a small, dried freshwater fish, the type of which I know not for sure, but possibly a perch. This humble aquatic being was removed from its habitat, & thus deprived of its life, by a man, unknown to me, in Lithuania, & sent by regular mail service to the recipient, his grandson (whom I do know), in London, England, where, at a pub table in the westend, it was torn apart on a newspaper & devoured gracelessly over a period of about 20 minutes. Its internal organs being knowledgeably extracted & gobbled up by the devourer, the malodourous morsel was consumed at a leisurely pace & swilled down with a pint of cheap lager.
