The recent Oracles Teatre run of 'Quasimodo' came to a close at the weekend with 6 passes of a condensed version of the show over 2 nights at the Hors Lits event by Colectivo Suelto. The event scheduled 4 shows, each at a different private terrace location within the barri of Gràcia, & rotated 3 audiences during the evening through each performance.
With limited lighting (directed by Ruth Morata) & acoustic instrumentation (performed by Keiko Fujiie), Orland Verdú, in the style of no butoh, portrayed characters from the Victor Hugo novel 'Notre Dame de Paris', with compelling support from Keiko.
(My contribution? Maraca & camera. Thank you to all involved, I loved it.)
