Having Parc Güell only 10 minutes walk from home is convenient for capturing images when venturing further afield is not viable. Although the weather here is cool there are still many international visitors milling about, seeking out the famous works of Antoni Gaudi, the parks main attractions.
A couple of days ago a friend & I decided to have a wander around the park & take in the afternoon light. I kept off the main paths, prefering the worn-in tracks that snake throughout the wild garden areas of the park &, using just a Tokina 100mm macro lens, whiled away a couple of hours capturing form, shapes, textures & colours of the varied plant life of the surroundings.
